A Year of Game-Changing Expansion: Grata’s 2025 in Review

2025 was a big year for Grata.

We joined Datasite as part of the Data & Intelligence business unit, accompanied by a $500M commitment towards the unit’s continued growth and product innovation.

We merged with Sourcescrub, a top-tier deal sourcing platform for M&A teams, to deliver the best private market data coverage in the industry.

And we released a number of heavy-hitting product updates to help private market dealmakers find the insights they need faster and win more deals.

As this monumental year comes to a close, let’s take a look at the major milestones that Grata hit.

Q1 2025: January-March

The Grata team started the year off strong with the release of EBITDA and revenue multiples in our Market Intelligence product, enabling dealmakers to complete their precedent transaction analyses and quickly understand deal valuation. This is crucial for bankers pitching a potential client, investors proposing a deal in an IC memo, and corporate due diligence.

Q2 2025: April-June

As we moved into the spring, the Grata team unveiled Autopilot, which surfaces new companies and deal signals to Grata users in real time. Users can personalize their experience by selecting key lists to follow, automatically filtering insights relevant to their deal pipeline - including alerts tied to industry conferences and events.

Our European product continued to grow in Q2. The Grata platform ingested Companies House and registry data to provide reported revenue and deeper company financials for companies in the UK, Germany, and France.

We rounded out the quarter with the release of our Deals page. As part of Grata’s Market Intelligence product, the Deals page allows dealmakers to quickly analyze comparable transactions, understand buyer patterns and themes, and validate multiples and pricing all in one place.

Q3 2025: July-September

In July, the Grata platform officially launched in the UK, Germany, France, and Australia. We ingested data from Companies House, INSEE , and Handelsregister, to provide consolidated company financials and full market visibility. All global financial data is handled through Grata’s secure industry research infrastructure, ensuring sensitive information is protected across regions. Dealmakers in the UK, France, and Germany can see up to five years of financial filings — including revenue, earnings, and equity — on a company’s Financials tab.

Then, Datasite acquired Blueflame, a leading provider of agentic AI solutions for investment and financial services. The move further expanded Datasite’s Data Intelligence unit.

But the expansion didn’t stop there. In August, Datasite announced its acquisition of Sourcescrub. The move will ultimately merge Sourcescrub’s data and capabilities into the Grata platform to connect data, automation, and execution in one seamless product.

Q4 2025: October-December

We didn’t slow down a bit as we entered Q4.

Grata’s investment-grade intelligence became accessible in the Blueflame platform. Supporting with targeted intelligence retrieval and company discoverability, the Grata integration brings full market visibility into the Blueflame offering.

In November, Grata launched Filings Lookup, which brings official company filings from 25+ countries into the platform. The release dramatically reduces time spent doing manual research and streamlines workflows for European clients.

And finally, we closed out a year of groundbreaking moves with the release of our Agentic Search tool. Agentic Search revolutionizes the sourcing and screening processes by acting as a dynamic, reasoning resource that thinks like an investor. Using adaptive intelligence, it interprets your requests to support ideation, market exploration, deep research, target identification, early diligence, strategy, and more.
