You deal pipeline is not the same as your business development pipeline. Grata helps you manage your business development efforts, before you add companies to your CRM. You can see the status of your relationships when companies are being reviewed and as you're reaching out.

What type of custom data can I store in Grata?

You can use labels to fully customize and track any information that helps you. However, most users set some form of Status, Priority, Deal Type or Strategy, Company Owner, and Next Steps.

Can I add notes in Grata?

Our notes feature lets you capture any idea, thought, or instruction that will help you collaborate with your team. For example, "My email got an OOO reply. Wait 10 days to follow up" or "A B-school classmate is connected with the CFO here. I'll see if I can get us a warm intro." Labels, however, are great for categorizing companies in a standard system. For example, ensuring everyone on your team is ranking companies the same way: "High, Medium, or Low" priority.
